The High Court lacks jurisdiction to review or set aside the Deputy Registrar's orders on taxation of costs, as such orders must be challenged through the procedure set out in paragraph 11 of the Advocates (Remuneration) Order by way of reference to the judge. The Defendant's application for review was therefore incompetent, as it was not brought before the proper forum (the Deputy Registrar) and did not follow the prescribed procedure.
