The Plaintiff's application for committal of the 2nd Defendant to prison and attachment of the 1st Defendant's property was filed more than one year after the date of the decree for specific performance. Under Order 22 Rule 18(1) of the Civil Procedure Rules, a notice to show cause must be issued to the judgment debtor before such execution can proceed when more than one year has elapsed since the decree. The Plaintiff failed to issue or serve such notice to show cause, and there was no evidence of previous execution proceedings. Consequently, the application was procedurally incompetent.
