The court held that objection proceedings under Order 22, Rules 51, 52, and 53 of the Civil Procedure Rules are available only to third parties who are not parties to the suit but claim an interest in the attached property. A defendant against whom a judgment has been issued cannot constitute themselves as an objector in the same cause. The defendant's application, disguised as objection proceedings, was therefore misconceived and amounted to an abuse of the court process.
