Any subsequent challenge to the nomination or gazettement must be brought as an election petition before the appropriate election court, not before the IEBC or through administrative correction. The court found that IEBC acted outside its constitutional and statutory mandate by purporting to degazette the petitioner and substitute her with the interested party after gazettement and swearing-in.
