The court found that although the Registrar referenced the repealed Registered Land Act in the boundary dispute proceedings, this did not in itself render the decision void, as section 72 of the Interpretation and General Provisions Act allows for deviations in form that do not affect substance or mislead. The Registrar retained jurisdiction to fix boundaries under section 19 of the Land Registration Act, 2012.
