Vide a Judgment dated 13/5/2025, the Court issued orders of mandamus compelling the Officers to settle the decree and certificate of costs in **Meru ELCL Miscellaneous Application No E019 of 2023**. 2. Subsequent to that, the applicant moved the Court for contempt orders against the said Officers. Vide a ruling dated 10/2/2026, the Meru County Executive Committee Member responsible for Finance & Economic Planning was found guilty of contempt. He was to attend Court for sentencing. 3. It has now emerged that there has been compliance by the County Executive Committee Member who has fully settled the Judgment sum. The applicant/decree-holder has orally applied that the file be closed. 4. In the circumstances, the County Executive Committee is discharged and the Order requiring his attendance for sentencing is vacated.
