RULING ON SENTENCE
1. I have considered the mitigation made on behalf of the accused. That he is a first offender, remorseful and sole breadwinner of the family.
2. He has been in custody for 4 years.
3. I have also considered the circumstances which the offence occurred and the victim impact report on record which is extremely negative of him.
4. I have also considered that he has been in custody for 4 years.
5. In the circumstances, I sentence the accused to 10 years imprisonment. 14 days Right of Appeal explained.
