The High Court lacks jurisdiction to revise or interfere with an acquittal order made by a subordinate court under Section 210 of the Penal Code, as Section 364(4) of the Criminal Procedure Code expressly prohibits the High Court from converting a finding of acquittal into one of conviction or otherwise altering such an order by way of revision. The DPP's application for revision is therefore unattainable, and the only available remedy is by way of appeal under Section 348A of the Criminal Procedure Code.
