1. The accused is charged with the offence of murder under Section 204 of the Penal Code.
2. After the plea was taken, he prayed that he be released on bond.
3. The probation did not object save to request that the same be reasonable.
4. The court asked for a Bail Information Report and the same prepared by Emmanuel Kemboi dated 4th October 2024 was availed.
5. I have read the report and the same is favourable to the accused person. I note from the report that the family of the victim particularly has no objection to the accused being granted bail.
6. In the circumstances, given the gravity of the offence, I now hereby grant the accused person a personal bond of Ksh. 500,000/= with 1 surety of a like amount.
7. Right to appeal 14 days.
