The court found that the Kangundo Land Disputes Tribunal acted without jurisdiction when it purported to determine the ownership of registered land and ordered the revocation of the title to Kangundo/Isinga/1946. The Tribunal's mandate under Section 3(1) of the Land Disputes Tribunals Act (repealed) was limited to disputes concerning division, boundaries, occupation, or trespass, not ownership or title of registered land. The registered proprietors were not parties to the proceedings, and only a court could nullify a title deed under the Registered Land Act (repealed).
