1. The court is surprised by the turn of events where the accused now wishes to have his cash bail refunded while he puts a surety.
2. In view thereof, the bond terms are hereby varied. The cash may be refunded by the accused posting a personal bond of Kshs. 500,000 with a surety of similar amount.
