The Tribunal therefore had jurisdiction to hear the dispute. The Landlady's three-month termination notice complied with the statutory requirements under section 4 of Cap 301. The statutory notice from Kitui County Government requiring repairs was found to be genuine and duly executed, and the repairs could not be carried out while the Tenant remained in occupation.
