The Tribunal found that the letters issued by the Respondent on 25th October 2021 and 6th January 2022 were compliance verification findings and a demand notice, respectively, and did not constitute an appealable decision as envisaged under Section 51(8) of the Tax Procedures Act. The Appellants' notice of objection did not comply with the mandatory requirements of Section 51(3) of the Act, as it lacked precise grounds, payment of undisputed tax, and submission of relevant documents. Consequently, the Tribunal held that the appeal was premature, as the statutory dispute resolution mechanism had not been exhausted.
