Therefore, a suit filed in a Resident Magistrate’s Court outside the local limits prescribed by section 15 is not a nullity. The High Court, exercising its powers under section 18(1)(b)(ii) of the Civil Procedure Act, is competent to withdraw and transfer such a suit to another subordinate court competent to try or dispose of it.
