The respondent, however, unilaterally shortened the notice period by locking out the claimant before the notice expired. While the claimant was not entitled to compensation for unfair termination, as the termination was instigated by him, he was entitled to notice pay for the unserved portion of the notice period. The claims for unpaid annual leave and service pay were dismissed due to lack of evidence of employment before 2011 and the claimant's enrollment in NSSF.
