The High Court lacks jurisdiction to hear and determine appeals arising from work injury claims between an employer and employee, as such matters fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Employment and Labour Relations Court (ELRC) established under Article 162(2) of the Constitution and the Employment and Labour Relations Court Act.
