The court found that it has jurisdiction to hear and determine the dispute as it relates to land, falling squarely within the mandate of the Environment and Land Court under Section 13 of the Environment and Land Court Act and Article 162(2)(b) of the Constitution. However, only those plaintiffs who are beneficiaries of the estate (and not those whose grant of administration has been revoked) have locus standi to proceed.
