Therefore, service of the Notice of Taxation and Bill of Costs should have been effected upon the advocate on record, not directly upon the applicant or his spouse. The process server failed to make proper enquiries as to the applicant's whereabouts before serving the spouse, and there was no justification for bypassing the advocate.
