In accordance with established legal principles and statutory provisions, the expiry of a fixed term contract does not constitute unfair termination and does not entitle the employee to compensation for unfair termination. The trial court erred in awarding six months' compensation and other dues for unfair termination, underpayments, and overtime, as the evidence showed the respondent was paid in accordance with Wage Orders, worked the regulated hours, and took weekly rest days. However, the appellant failed to demonstrate that the respondent was compensated for public holidays...
