Although the Plaintiff claimed continuous occupation of the suit land for over 40 years, the evidence showed that there had been an ongoing boundary dispute since 1997, culminating in a determination by the Land Registrar on 30th September 2022. The court held that the limitation period for adverse possession could only begin to run after the boundary dispute was resolved, i.e., from 30th September 2022.
