The act of filing the notice of appeal removed the matter from the jurisdiction of the Employment and Labour Relations Court and placed it within the jurisdiction of the Court of Appeal. Section 7 of the Appellate Jurisdiction Act does not empower the trial court to extend time once a notice of appeal has been filed.
