The Tenant's claim of lack of service was therefore unsubstantiated. The Tribunal held that the grounds advanced by the Tenant did not amount to sufficient reason within the meaning of Section 80 of the Civil Procedure Act and Order 45 Rule 1 of the Civil Procedure Rules to warrant review or setting aside of the ex parte orders. The Tribunal also noted the Tenant had not provided a plan to settle the outstanding rent arrears, and it would be unjust to set aside the orders in the absence of compelling reasons.
