RWANDA SOCIAL SECURITY BOARD (RSSB) v. TWAGIRAMUNGU
The Supreme Court held that compensation for work-related disability must be based on the degree of disability determined by the official medical committee (20% physical, 80% mental), and that mental disability caused by a work accident is compensable in the same manner as physical disability. RSSB is liable for both, including damages for delayed and insufficient treatment.
