ASSAR's petition was dismissed as inadmissible because it failed to demonstrate a legitimate general interest, did not provide an expert study report evidencing the gravity of the issue or failed resolution attempts, and did not show the consequences of the absence of a minimum wage on the general public. The Court held that the requirements for public interest litigation under article 80 of Law no 30/2018 were not met.
