26. -(1) Every person has the duty to observe and to abide by thisConstitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
27. -(1) Every person has the duty to protect the natural resources of theConstitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
28. -(1) Every citizen has the duty to protect, preserve and maintain theConstitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
29. -(1) Every person in the United Republic has the right to enjoyConstitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
30. -(1) The human rights and freedoms, the principles of which are setConstitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
31. -(1) Apart from the provisions of Article 30(2), any law enacted byConstitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
32. -(1) Subject to this Constitution or to any law enacted by Parliament inConstitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
33. -(1) There shall be a President of the United Republic.Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977

38. -(1) The President shall be elected by the citizen in accordance withConstitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
39. -(1) A person shall not be entitled to be elected to hold the office ofConstitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
40. -(1) Subject to the other provisions of this Article, any person whoConstitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
41. -(1) Where Parliament has been dissolved or where any of the eventsConstitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
42. -(1) The President elect shall assume office of President as soon asConstitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
43. -(1) The President shall be paid such salary and other remuneration,Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
44. -(1) Subject to this Constitution or to any Act of Parliament providingConstitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
45. -(1) Subject to the other provisions contained in this Article, theConstitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
46. -(1) During the President’s tenure of office in accordance with thisConstitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
47. -(1) Notwithstanding the provisions of Article 46 of this Constitution,Constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
48. -(1) Without prejudice to the duty of every citizen which isConstitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
49. -(1) There shall be a Vice-President, who shall be the principalConstitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
50. -(1) The Vice-President shall assume the office of Vice-President onConstitution of the United Republic of Tanzania, 1977
