Official source152.-(1) This Constitution may be cited as the Constitution of the United

of this (2) This Constitution came into operation on the 26th of April, 1977.
Constitution (3) This Constitution shall apply to Mainland Tanzania as well as
Act No.15 Tanzania Zanzibar.
