76.-(1) After every dissolution of Parliament there shall be held an constituencies election of a Member of Parliament in every constituency. Act No.15 of 1984 (2) Likewise there shall be held an election of a Member of Parliament in Art.13 a constituency whenever the seat of any Member of Parliament representing that Act No.3 of constituency falls vacant for any reason not connected with the dissolution of (3) Notwithstanding the preceding provisions of this Article, it is hereby declared that where the date for dissolution of Parliament has been proclaimed or is known on account of the events specified in subarticle (3) of Article 90, then no such election shall take place during the whole period of six months immediately preceding the date of the dissolution of Parliament.
