Provision text
Official sourceDeclaration of war (1) The President may, in consultation with Cabinet, at any time, by Proclamation published in the Gazette declare war. (2) A declaration made under clause (1) shall continue in force until the cessation of hostilities. (3) An Act of Parliament shall provide for the conditions and circumstances under which a declaration may be made under clause (1).
