Official sourcePerformance of functions of Auditor- General during absence, illness or other cause Where the Auditor-General is absent from Zambia or is unable to perform the functions of office due to illness or other cause, the President shall appoint a person qualified to perform the functions of the Auditor-General until that appointment is revoked or until the Auditor-General returns to office. [Article 251 added by section 8 of Act 2 of 2016]
