Official sourceVoting in National Assembly (1) Except as otherwise provided in this Constitution, a question proposed for decision in the National Assembly shall be determined by a majority of the Members of Parliament present and voting. (2) On a question proposed for decision in the National Assembly— (a) the Speaker shall have no vote; and (b) in the case of a tie, the question shall be lost.
