Functions of Vice-President (1) The Vice-President shall be answerable to the President in the performance of the functions of Vice- President. (2) The Vice-President shall— (a) perform the functions that are assigned to the Vice-President by the President; (b) perform the executive functions during the periods speciﬁed in this Constitution; and (c) assume the ofﬁce of President as speciﬁed in Article 106(5).
