Official sourceStatus of Defence Force and national security services The Defence Force and national security services shall be— (a) subordinate to civilian authority, as vested in the State organs; and (b) adequately and properly equipped to enable them effectively perform their functions. [Article 191 added by section 8 of Act 2 of 2016]
