Supreme Court rules on entrapment in dial-a-dope investigations, holding that reasonable suspicion must exist before police offer an opportunity to traffic drugs.
s.278.1 covers therapeutic/counselling records only where they contain personal information in which the complainant has a reasonable expectation of privacy; presence of the accused at some sessions does not automatically negate that expectation; on the facts the trial judge did not err in finding the respondent failed to meet the s.278.5 threshold for production to the judge and thus the summary conviction appeal court erred in ordering production of joint records and in setting aside the trial judge's ruling on records.
