R. v. S.R.L.
Because the applicant demonstrated meaningful changed circumstances (completion of treatment, sustained clean record, ongoing programming, marriage and a young biological child) and there is a clear connection between those changes and the need for supervised family participation, the court granted a limited, circumspect variation: supervised attendance at the child's daycare, playgrounds, and public parks when the child is present and the applicant is accompanied by his spouse; all other prohibitions remain in force to protect children and manage recidivism risk.
