    The magistrate abused her discretion by refusing an adjournment to enable the unrepresented appellant to obtain legal advice where material issues (variance in locus, nature of seized items, state of appellant's arm and allegation of frame-up) could not be properly explored and the refusal resulted in prejudice; accordingly the conviction and order were set aside and a retrial was ordered before another magistrate.
