    The amendment of the particulars did not produce irremediable prejudice and was properly made under s.23(1) CPO; the judge was aware of and properly directed himself about the corrupt witness yet accepted his evidence beyond reasonable doubt; the applicant had adequate opportunity to cure any prejudice and was not deprived of a fair trial; accordingly the conviction is safe and the application for leave to appeal is dismissed.
