    Judge accepted Father's disclosed monthly income of HK$30,000 and discounted the Mother's asserted expenditures as exaggerated. Balancing the child's needs against the Father's means the court found a reasonable regular maintenance sum to be HK$6,000 per month from 1 August 2007. The interim payments of HK$7,000 since November 2006 produced a surplus of HK$1,000 per month for nine months totalling HK$9,000 which the court treated as the Father's contribution towards past costs, therefore no lump sum order was made. No order as to costs was made and legal aid taxation was directed.
