    Court
    Court of Appeal
    Case number
    CACC488/1995

The trial judge fairly and adequately directed the jury on voluntariness, police conduct and discrepancies; the jury were entitled to accept the evidence of presence, possession of the stolen vehicle key and the cautioned statements to find an agreement to act as lookout for a robbery; the acquittal on the taking‑conveyance charge was not inconsistent with the conspiracy conviction; therefore the conviction was not unsafe and leave to appeal was refused.
