The appointed medical assessor's AMA Guides (4th Edition) evaluation produced a 15% whole person impairment which, after deducting the previously paid 15% lump sum, left no percentage available for an Independence Allowance; the appellant failed to demonstrate a serious flaw in the assessment, so the respondent's cessation of the allowance was correct.
