Court found, on the evidence and permissible inferences, that Chu fraudulently declared herself sole surviving spouse, obtained letters of administration, appropriated substantial assets of Sung (including two tranches of HSBC shares) into her own estate with intention to permanently deprive Sung's beneficiaries, and that the losses were occasioned by her wilful default; accordingly the account must be taken on the footing of wilful default.
