Registration was set aside because (1) the ex parte registration application involved material non-disclosure of failed Macau service attempts and the defendant's Macau residence, and (2) on the merits the defendant lacked actual notice of the Singapore proceedings before judgment such that s6(1)(a)(iii) was made out; despite a 22‑month delay the court entertained the application out of time because there was no significant prejudice and the substantive merits favoured setting aside.
