- Court
- Court of Final Appeal
- Case number
- FACC11/2012
The Court held the recording was prima facie authentic on expert and circumstantial evidence and that PW1 had sufficient and credible familiarity with the appellants' voices; with proper Turnbull-style warnings and consideration of surrounding circumstances the trial judge rightly admitted and relied on the voice identification alongside corroborating circumstantial evidence, so the convictions were open on the evidence and the appeals must be dismissed.
