The Court upheld the trial judge's findings that the CCTV identification and the applicant's admissions were reliable and that the defence exhibits were contrived and rightly rejected; the voir dire rulings on admissibility were correct; and the sentencing judge applied orthodox starting points and properly addressed totality such that the total sentence of 3 years 9 months was not manifestly excessive — accordingly leave to appeal against conviction and sentence was refused.
