The court accepted the credibility of the three Customs officers, found the arrest, caution and post‑record procedures were carried out, concluded the notebook entries were properly made and signed with translation/opportunity to read and were not the product of inducement or coercion, and therefore the admissions and documentary evidence were voluntary and admissible.
