The Court held the trial judge's summing-up and directions were fair and comprehensive, did not withdraw the defence hypothesis from the jury, and the post-record and video interview were admissible; on the totality of evidence and common-sense inferences the jury's verdict was not unsafe, therefore leave to appeal against conviction was dismissed.
