- Citation
- HKSAR v. TSUI CHI LAM
- Court
- Court of First Instance
- Case number
- HCMA582/2006
The magistrate lawfully considered the appellant's admissions in his voluntary record of interview and, in light of admissions plus corroborating physical evidence (key, bank statement at the premises, instruments, drugs and control of services), was entitled to infer that the appellant not only practised as a doctor there but formed part of the management of an unregistered clinic; accordingly the conviction was safe and the appeal is dismissed.
