The application for leave to appeal against sentence is refused because, although it is arguable that enhancing the starting point for the handling stolen goods charge by three months may have been open to challenge, it is not reasonably arguable that the total sentence of 33 months was manifestly excessive; the judge's selection of starting points, reduction for guilty plea and decision to order part of the second sentence to run consecutively fell within the proper exercise of discretion.
