The court found the aggregate imprisonment resulting from consecutive default terms would be excessive given the offences arose from the same facts and the appellant's mitigation; accordingly it allowed the appeal in respect of Charge B and substituted a one month imprisonment term to be served consecutively to the six months imposed for Charge A, while dismissing the appeal against Charge A.
