The appeal is allowed in part: the court corrected the Sai Kung property valuation to a midway figure between two competent expert reports (net value $6.2m), upheld the trial judge's finding of equal beneficial ownership, and affirmed the exercise of discretion under s7(1)(a) to effect a clean break by allocating a 75% share to the wife (25% to the husband) and increasing the wife's buyout payment to $1.55m.
