The EGM of 31 March 1996 validly resolved the estimated budget of HKD 10,940,400 and apportioned contributions; the Building Authority orders mandated the works and the appointment/tendering steps taken were within the management committee's powers; minor typographical discrepancies in the demand notice do not invalidate the owners' resolution; accordingly the applicants are liable for their apportioned contributions and the applications are dismissed.
